A reinstall of your operating system is required if your hard drive fails or if your system has become so corrupted from viruses or other failures that the operating system cannot be repaired.

Operating System

The basic component in an OS reinstall is the Windows Operating system.  While we recommend that you bring the disks that came with your computer.  You must provide the license key.  In most cases this can be found on a sticker on your computer, usually on the back or bottom.  It is important to note that the operating system is just Windows and does not include other Microsoft software such as Office, Word, or Excel.

Software

Once the operating system is reinstalled your software will need to be reinstalled.  To do this we will need your original software disks and license keys.  If you can't find your software disks we will attempt to locate another copy but you must have your license keys.  It is important to note that Microsoft Office is not part of the Oprating System and needs to be reinstalled separately.  To reinstall Office, including Word, and Excel you will need to provide a license key and software disks.

Data

Data stored on your computer will be erased when your operating system is reinstalled.  If you have not backed it up we will attempt to recover your data upon request.  Depending on the severity of your PC's problems data recovery may not be possible.
